Udaipur Lake Pichola

Pichola Lake – It is one of the most picturesque and beautiful of all Udaipur Lakes. It is located in the heart of the city. It is renowned for being the oldest and the biggest lake in all of Udaipur. The lake has two islands and a host of hotels close by. The main source of water for this lake is the rain.

Fateh Sagar Lake – The Fateh Sagar Lake is the second synthetic lake in Udaipur just like the Jaisamand Lake which happens to be the second longest synthetic lake in Asia. This lake was constructed by Maharana Jaisingh and Maharana Fateh Singh made additions to this lake later on. Hence the name Fateh Sagar Lake.

Other Udaipur Lakes include The Rajsamand Lake, The Jaisamand Lake, The Udai Sagar Lake, The Dudh Talai, The Jiyan Sagar and The Swaroop Sagar.

Sahiliyo ki Bari

Sahiliyo ki Bari is an ancient garden dedicated to queen and maids. Maharaja Maharana Pratap designed and constructs it for his Queens. This garden contains lots of open bath places, fountains, marble elephants, various species of greenery and pools. When the tourists enter the garden they will feel relaxed and the fabulous construction of some open shower places amazed the tourists.

Temples of Udaipur

Udaipur has many temples. There are three storey temples of the Jain community that can be visited by all. The other temples are famous ‘Dilwara Temples’. Sun Temple in Udaipur is dedicated to ‘Sun God’. Some of the temples are dedicated to Adinathji, which have 29 beautiful halls and 1444 pillars.
